Let me start by saying Happy New Year! I hope that 2018 is a year of new opportunities and many blessings for you all!

2017 was a busy year full of wedding plans and on 7th October 2017, the fruits of our labour paid off with the most beautiful wedding we could’ve dreamt of. To mark our 3 month anniversary, I thought I’d share some of my favourite photos from the big day!

Our wedding took place in Albufeira, Portugal at the Pine Cliffs Resort. Our ceremony and reception took place at the Tabu Garden overlooking the cliffs surrounding the resort.

After a few sangrias too many the night before, the day got off to a rocky start when I realised my battery had died in the night and I’d overslept! After a gallon of water and couple of espressos, it was time to get the show on the road. Once all the bridesmaids had arrived, the speakers were on and the drinks were flowing, the big day was in full swing.

We had the fabulous Mary (from Adiva Forever) on Makeup and myself and my bridesmaids styled our own hair.

Walking down the aisle was such a surreal moment, I couldn’t believe it was actually happening! *Cue tears*

After all the beautiful speeches and an exquisite wedding breakfast, we moved down to the Beach Club for cake cutting and the turn-up! DJ Ruff n Tuff got the party started and we easily could’ve gone on all night!

Overall, it really was the perfect day filled with so much love, I wish we could relive it over and over. It was so amazing to see everything finally come together, all the late nights were worth it! I still can’t believe we managed to pull off such an amazing day and all without a wedding planner!

For now, I’m looking forward to enjoying life, having fun with my husband, and creating more beautiful memories.
